The client and the role:
Operating within the FMCG/Packaging sector, this highly successful manufacturer has a reputation for continual process improvement and outstanding achievement. Reporting to the Commercial Manager (CFO) your challenge is to combine your management and financial accounting knowledge and skills gained within a fast paced manufacturing (FMCG) environment with your strong commercial orientation and a “hands on” commitment to manufacturing process improvement

What we are seeking: (critical criteria)

  • a technically strong financial and management accountant with a minimum of 3-4 years manufacturing/FMCG industry experience including close off, preparation and reporting of company accounts
  • strong commercial acumen  with well developed analytical and report writing skills.
  • the ability to relate at operational level and assist in identifying and driving process improvement
  • a career focused and driven individual with a strong work ethic who is proactive, can drive initiatives and looks to add value!
  • well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Software packages: Microsoft office, Advanced Excel, SAP are essential. Knowledge of Essbase and Hyperion is desirable.


Qualifications: CPA/CA is preferred however applications from technically strong accountants with relevant industry experience will be considered.
