As part of this leading Corporate & Commercial team, you will advise major domestic and international corporations, publicly listed companies, commercial institutions and businesses across a range of industries, including transport, construct ion, insurance, retail, property and finance.
 
As part of this busy team, your role with involve negotiating, documenting and advise on major asset acquisitions and dispositions, commercial contracts including terms of trade, supply, distribution and licensing agreements, hire agreements, IP and IT agreements, franchises, shareholder and unitholder agreements, service and maintenance agreements and construction contracts.
 
As an experienced lawyer you will have: 
  • At least 4 years post qualification experience gained within a reputable top or mid-tier law firm with broad legal knowledge across general corporate and commercial matters;
  • Strong technical and commercial abilities, and will be able to work effectively as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers;
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload;
  • Advanced drafting skills;
  • A track record of developing strong, lasting client relationships; and 
  • First class academics.
