Take Time Working Out Cruise Jobs Wages
Thursday January 22, 2009
If you are interested in taking on cruise jobs for the first time, be sure to work out appropriate wages. Even if you will be taking on an essentially identical job to your regular career, cruise ship jobs should pay somewhat higher. This is to make up for the unique working conditions that you must deal with, though obviously those who are just starting their career should expect lower wages than more experienced workers.
Those in management roles especially should be sure to negotiate a good level of pay. There is little point in undervaluing yourself in order to seem more attractive to hire. You will simply grow sick of the work at that pay level and start looking for a new job much sooner than you had originally planned.
